Engineering Department

The Design and Engineering Department of this factory, leveraging up-to-date knowledge and technologies and employing specialized engineering software, has, over decades of accumulated experience and research and development, advanced alongside the country’s industrial growth to showcase a distinctive experience of quality and product diversity in Iran’s gearbox industry today.

All engineering calculations and principles applied in gear design within this department are based on ANSI/AGMA standards, while the design and calculations of other gearbox components are carried out in accordance with DIN standards.

The capabilities and experience of the Design and Engineering Department, combined with the use of advanced and precise production equipment, have ensured the quality and accuracy of design outcomes. Increasing production speed and flexibility to manufacture a wide range of products has long been a strategic goal of Rahnama Factory. To achieve this, modeling of various components and the creation of die-casting molds are consistently carried out in-house under the direct supervision and control of the Design and Engineering Department.

Accordingly, Rahnama Factory’s gearboxes are manufactured with a quality-focused approach and benefit from a quality control system based on the international ISO 9001:2008 certification, making them available to various industries.

The quality control and product inspection process is dynamically implemented, starting from the receipt of raw materials and components and continuing through all production stages until the final product is ready. All inspection records are documented and analyzed to improve quality and prevent potential defects.
