Bevel–Helical Combination Gearboxes (RAO-Bevel Helical)
RAO gearboxes are designed with a fully machined housing and can be installed in various orientations. Their ideal design and high-quality construction enable them to handle heavy-duty applications. These gearboxes offer two-stage speed reduction (one set of bevel gears and helical gears) or three-stage reduction (one set of bevel gears and two sets of helical gears) for sizes 35÷90 RAO.
The housings of the 100-110-130 gearboxes are similar to the RAP type, with the only difference being the presence of a set of bevel gears at the front.
The increase in output torque in the 100-130 gearboxes depends on the gear design, bearing strength, and the use of ductile cast iron 50-60 GGG for enhanced strength and impact resistance.
